THANKSGIVING MAKE & TAKE
(11/24/2016) - Atlanta, GA

As the holiday season approached, the Eta Sigma Rhoer Club focused on those less fortunate than themselves and worked with the ladies of Eta Sigma Atlanta Alumnae Chapter and members of Zion Hill Missionary Baptist church on Thanksgiving morning to cut-up, plate and package meals to be distributed by the church’s mission group for the homeless around Atlanta who are not able to make it out to the larger feed the hungry events around the city.  300 meals were prepared complete with dessert and drink and boxed up for delivery.   

AIDS Walk Atlanta 2016
(10/16/2016) - Piedmont Park - Atlanta, GA

The Eta Sigma Rhoer Club setup the team village and the AIDS Milestones Flags for the 2016 AIDS 5k Run/Walk in Atlanta.  This is the Eta Sigma Rhoer Clubs 9th year participating as volunteers for this incredible event that raises funds for HIV & AIDS research, outreach, prevention and screening.

JAPANFEST
(09/17/2016) - Atlanta, GA

The Eta Sigma Rhoer Club participated in a cultural activity by attending  Japanfest at the Infinite Arena.  While there, they experienced foods from the different areas of Japan, Japanese games (old and new) and lots of booths and forums on industries and economics of the country of Japan.

Ronald McDonald House (08/28/2016) - Atlanta, GA

The Eta Sigma Rhoer Club prepared a sumptuous brunch and met with some of the families and children living at the Ronald McDonald House.  Due to privacy reasons, we aren't able to show the families and their children but we fed over 12 families.

 

Thank you to Rhoers Atalyah Manchester, Jasmine Spade, Zoe Cody, Amber Donerlson, Bethany Barnes, Elise Griffin and Jessica Thompson for your hard work.  The families came back to thank you ladies and give hugs for the good food.

The ladies of Eta Sigma Atlanta Alumnae Chapter and the senior  Rhoers of our club enjoyed enjoyed their senior send-off and were blessed to have International Grand Basileus Bonita Herring present for their luncheon.
 IGB Herring gave words of wisdom and encouragement to Rhoer Christie and Rhoer Angel as they embark upon their next chapters in life.  They ended the evening by attending the AKA public meeting with the chapter to represent on behalf of the Blue & Gold.
Project Wee Savers 2016 - Atlanta, GA

The Eta Sigma Rhoer Club participated in the spring 2016 Project Wee Savers program with the ladies of Eta Sigma Atlanta Alumnae Chapter on April 23rd.  During the program, the Rhoers and other youth were taught the importance of basic financial literacy.

March of Dimes 2016 - Atlanta, GA

The Eta Sigma Rhoer Club participated in the 2016 March of Dimes March for Babies.  The Rhoers provided assistance with set-up and distribution of water with Publix Supermarkets for the runners and walkers who participated in the walk.

76th Southeastern Regional Conference - Tampa, FL

The Award winning Eta Sigma Rhoer Club attended the 76th Southeastern Regional Conference in Tampa, FL. March 31 - April 3. Congratulations to our club being named Rhoer Club of the Year with Scrapbook and Display, Rhoer Christie Nance being named 2015 - 2016 Rhoer of the Year, Rhoer Hannah Logan placing third in the Miss Rhoer pageant and the club receiving a growth award. We give major respect and honor to our graduate chapter, Eta Sigma Atlanta Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. Your support, guidance and examples have made all this possible. Thank you.
